TYPEVERSE is a learning resource for designers, studios or anyone who wants to create beautiful type quickly.

The brief from my Typography class was to promote the typefoundry Hoefler & Frere-Jones. H&FJ are the type gurus who know pretty much everything, and love sharing their knowledge of type. I designed an app using the H&FJ resources and more typography knowledge you should know.

The app features a news, learn, talk and buy section. In the 'learn' section users can use these tools and be confident that they're 100% right. In the 'Combining Type' tool users can paste in their text, quickly create something amazing and easily buy the fonts afterwards.The 'talk' section is directly linked to the TYPEVERSE twitter page and forum where users can post questions or show off their projects.

To launch TYPEVERSE it would be linked with TypeCon 2011. All attendees would receive a unique code to download the app before anyone else.
